Ideally you will have a good understanding of the role that you want to fill and the type of skills, knowledge and experience that you need the person to have before you will consider them for the role.
It is also important to know whether you want someone on a temporary, temp to perm, contract or permanent basis. There are benefits to each and the one to choose will depend on your circumstances and preferences.
Having discussed and agreed the terms and conditions of business between us, we advertise your role free of charge on our standard advertising platforms and on our own online platforms. The role is pro-actively pushed out to all of our registered candidates who have identified the function and level applicable to their skills, knowledge, experience and geographical preferences.
We then long list, short list and telephone interview all relevant candidates to ensure you receive a diverse range of suitably qualified and experienced candidates from which you can choose from. You can choose how many CVs you want to see, some people only want 2 or 3 CVs and others want to see 5 to 10 CVs dependant on the role and how busy they are.
We will always conduct a face to face interview with each candidate unless there is a substantial reason why that might not be possible. In the event that we can’t meet the person we will always tell you and give you the option to proceed according to your preferences. We will then provide you with a brief written description as how they meet the job brief for your consideration.
As standard practice, we will confirm each candidate’s identity, their proof of address and their right to work in the UK. If you need them tested on any PC based system or a bespoke test to your company, we can also do that and free of charge.
Once you have found the right person, we assist each party in the negotiation process and help you to sell the benefits of working for your organisation. We then keep in contact with the candidate to ensure any issues are resolved and good communication is maintained throughout the crucial notice period and when they start.
Once started, we keep in contact with the new starter and assist with any teething issues wherever possible.
